Saved by faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ at age eight and raised in an Independent Baptist church, Stuart transitioned from a faithful youth to serving as a U.S. Army Airborne Infantryman. While stationed in Italy with his wife, he grew spiritually through active leadership in a local missionary Baptist church. Following his military service, Stuart served ten years with the Virginia State Police before answering a call to full-time ministry with the Rock of Ages Mission Board. For reasons unforeseen, after seven years of military prison missionary chaplaincy and church-planting work in Chesapeake, VA, the Lord led Stuart back to employment with the VSP. This transition led him to Winchester, VA in 2019 to Greenwood Baptist Church where he began his current pastorate. Pastor remains a very devoted individual continuing to work as a Virginia State Trooper in addition to the leadership he provides to his

church family. Pastor and his wife, Aasta, have four wonderful children: Leah, Abigail, Gabriel and Garrett. As

a committed and loving father, Pastor also remains fully dedicated to church growth and the Greenwood, Winchester community.
